STEM Entrepreneurship Center is a pioneering hub for all entrepreneurial stakeholders in Egypt and the MENA region who are interested in STEM fields and young entrepreneurs' innovative ideas. As the marketing manager at STEM EC, I was responsible for planning and managing marketing campaigns on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Additionally, I aimed to attract community partners and ambassadors to market our events. As a result, we successfully achieved our goals within the first month, reaching over 60K individuals through our social media channels and securing more than 2K registrations for our events
Millie's Quest is a special cosmetics company located in the UAE that wants to start its own e-commerce branch. I was hired remotely to be their social media specialist and media buyer for a 3-month project to help them build their identity and create their online presence. I started by putting a plan that included the company's available capabilities and SWOT analysis. Next, I studied the market and analyzed competitors to exploit their weaknesses and create our own advantages. After that, I created a full marketing plan that included branding directions, suitable marketing platforms, and a content creation strategy for the next 3 months. Then, I created their online brand and began their ads on social media platforms for 3 months to achieve our first goal of brand awareness and building a customer base.
Rose Abaya is an online clothing brand based in Egypt that focuses on selling Arabian fashion on Instagram. I was hired remotely to serve as their social media specialist and media buyer for a specific project aimed at helping them establish their online presence and build their brand identity. I conducted market research and analyzed competitors to identify opportunities and capitalize on their weaknesses. With this information, I created a detailed marketing plan that included branding guidelines, appropriate marketing channels, and a content creation strategy. I established their online brand and launched social media ads for about a year to achieve our initial objective of increasing brand awareness and building a customer base.
GDSC is a community created by Google for students interested in pursuing a career in technology. I volunteered as the CEO, Marketing Manager, and Event Director. During my tenure, I successfully planned for the 2023 season and established our online presence on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Moreover, I created a free marketing campaign that attracted over 2000 students from more than 10 countries to join our online programming courses. Finally, I managed the planning, preparation, and organization of "Code Of Duty 2023," an event focused on the future of AI and its impact on careers with 300+ attendance.
NASA Space Apps is an international hackathon hosted by NASA in collaboration with space agencies around the world. It is open to individuals from diverse backgrounds who are interested in developing innovative solutions using NASA's data in the space, which go beyond just creating apps. I volunteered as a Marketing Manager and Logistics Supervisor. My primary responsibility was to develop and implement a marketing plan that would increase online activity, attract more participants and reach the target number of participating teams in less than five days. Additionally, I led and managed a 48-hour hackathon, overseeing the preparation of projects, judging process, and closing party with the help of 30 volunteer organizers and ensuring a smooth experience for the 150 attendees.
