My name is Dima, a fourth-year student at Damascus University – Open Learning Program, majoring in Translation. I have a deep passion for language and its role in bridging cultures, and I constantly strive to enhance my linguistic and professional skills

Believing that specialized translation requires solid understanding of domain-specific terminology, I dedicate my time to studying academic courses on Coursera in various fields such as medicine, engineering, business, and information technology. My goal is to build a broad knowledge base that enables me to handle specialized texts with accuracy and professionalism

In addition to my academic interests, I possess skills in general translation, audio transcription, and proficient use of Microsoft Office programs. I also work on freelance projects to gain hands-on experience in real-world settings

I have previously studied Arabic literature for three years, which provided me with a strong linguistic foundation and a deep understanding of stylistic and textual analysis — skills that significantly support my work in translating into Arabic

Beyond academia, I am passionate about music and enjoy playing the guitar, which I consider a source of inspiration and mental balance that positively reflects on the quality of my work
