Additionally, I have a wealth of experience within underwriting; both are avenues I wish to pursue.

My career reflects my passion, success within a range of management roles. I have successfully worked for the same company since 2010 progressing to  manager of life and Motor insurance Dept. which demonstrates my ambitious nature and love for my job.

Overview
As Manager, I was accountable for the overall management of the life and Motor operations and authorizing underwriting granted by the reinsurance (Gen-Re) company. I played a pivotal role in reviewing and assessing cases above the underwriter’s authorities.

A selection of my additional duties included:
• Applied results of actuarial analysis to underwriting practices and developing the application of department policies, documents and procedures and explaining to field reps, and other stakeholders
• Conducting analysis on various pricing scenarios and benefit modifications to products and directing and evaluating alternative rating system methodologies
• Collecting, and analyzing various types of information and report and calculating possible risk and determined appropriate premium
• Monitoring the operation & usage of the underwriting database and managing work-flow, duties and underwriting authority to staff

Executive Highlights
• I was personally responsible for implementing underwriting guidelines for the department and training manual for Underwriters and sales staff.
• I was personally responsible for building a network of medical examiners for life insurance.
