Senior Arabic Content quality assurance, Arabic proofreader, and technical writer
Responsibilities:
• Writing the SMS, emails & push notifications for the clients about the services, also writing release notes, service catalog, and user manual (after checking the service screens from a web application called Figma) for the services that the company launches on the website depending on the target audience and specific project. I am writing all the above using the information from the requirement documents that I was provided by the product team basically in Arabic, and I can do the same in English.
• Proofreading and editing the website content (service icons, error messages, buttons, any sentence that appears on the website… etc) of the services through a website called “Lokalise” in Arabic and English.
• Preparing video scripts (tutorials) and a description for the services that the company launches Online (on the website), producing the voiceover from an AI website called “Murf” in Arabic and English.
• Communicating with the product team to provide me with the brief of the services, the requirement documents; in order to write the (release notes, service catalog, and user manual, Video scripts, website keys… etc) as mentioned above.
• Making training sessions for the new interns and preparing guidelines for them about the work.
• Following up with the interns to make sure they are working according to the scheduled timeframe.
• Able to write the requirements of the services after taking a brief and the information from the business team.
• Translating the training courses that the company produces for the real estate trainee from English to Arabic, also translating the articles we write in the company.
• Making research for the e-courses to check their comprehensiveness, and make sure that they cover the main topics of the course.
• Checking the accuracy of the information that is mentioned in the training courses.
• Able to work as a product owner.
Senior content quality assurance and proofreader
Responsibilities:
• Making plans to ensure that we deliver the training courses and the video scripts by the deadline, and to make sure that we are working within the workflow that we determined.
• Proofreading the training courses and the video scripts that the company produces.
• Checking the credibility of the information that is mentioned in the training courses and the video scripts.
• Editing the training courses and the video scripts, and correcting the grammar, spelling…etc. mistakes.
• Updating the information if needed.
• Rephrasing the sentences to display the training courses and the video scripts in a simple way.
• Proof listener and supervising the voice-over sessions of the material and coordinating with the audio engineer to finish the audio after fixing it.
• Proof listener with the presenters who were recording the material as a video, to make sure that the VO or Video presenter are free of errors.
Arabic Proofreader, researcher, and content writer
Responsibilities:
• Checking the reliability of the references in the articles.
• Checking the accuracy and the compatibility of the information in the articles with the references.
• Editing the articles and correcting the grammar, spelling…etc. mistakes.
• Rephrasing the sentences to display the article in a simple way.
• Managing a group of writers and coordinating with them to deliver the articles on time.
• Making research to check the comprehensiveness of the article, to make sure that it covers all the main topics of the article.
• Making research for the little of the article and put the main topics of it with the references.
Proofreader and Content Quality Assurance Officer
Responsibilities:
• Content developer and proofreader for the material that the company produces or receives from the client.
• Rephrasing the sentences for the material to be clear for the trainee.
• Editing the material and correcting the grammar mistakes, spelling, punctuation…etc.
• Checking the accuracy of the information, statistics, studies, etc. from trusted references.
• Planning all the stages of the material from the time that I received it, till deliver it to the client as an Online E-course.
• Making sure that the material after the modification corresponds to the client's expectations.
• Making sure the workflow is running in the scheduled time.
• Making a quality assurance for the E-course after making it a whole course, including the text, the videos, the questions, the compatibility of the images -if any- with the material, etc.
• Coordinate with the animators and the video editors to produce the videos and the animations that I will need for the courses.
• Coordinating with the developers to upload the course Online on the client platform.
• Proof-listener and supervising the voice-over sessions of the material, and coordinating with the audio engineer to finish the audio after fixing it.
• Proof listener with the presenters who were recording the material as videos.
