I am currently pursuing my studies at Nile University School of Biotechnology, and I have a strong foundation in research methodologies and laboratory techniques. Through a variety of projects, I have gained practical experience that has enhanced my academic journey, such as creating biofuel from used oil in the organic chemistry course and producing hyaluronic acid powder from eggshells during the histology course. Additionally, I have actively engaged in extracurricular projects in school, including the Intel ISEF-International Science and Engineering Fair competition with a project raising awareness about interacting with individuals with special needs. My participation in the Creative Egyptian Biotechnologists (CEB) training program helped me improve my abilities in the areas of anticancer drug research and cancer diagnosis. I learned a lot about molecular diagnostics through this program, especially regarding chromosomal aneuploidy, microdeletion identification, and the detection of BCR-ABL in acute lymphatic leukemia (ALL). My experiences in clubs, training programs, and academic projects have given me the opportunity to develop a wide range of soft skills, such as leadership, teamwork, effective communication, and problem-solving. I’m fascinated by the world of biotechnology, genetic engineering, molecular biology, and research fields, and I want to learn more about molecular biology and apply and improve my research skills.
