Managing the Nanoscience, Renewable Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and Aerospace programs, their respective faculty administration team, and support staff.
• Handle all the administrative work related to both postgraduate and undergraduate students, TAs, adjunct faculty, hiring memos, etc.
• Assisting in the preparation and coordination of interviews for Teaching Assistants, Research Assistants, and postgraduate Students.
• Ensuring a smooth orientation process for new faculty and Teaching Assistants.
• Assisting in Course files for accreditation
• Coordinating and scheduling meetings, including arranging meeting rooms, sending out meeting invitations, and preparing meeting agendas.
• Providing support in organizing scientific events including Seminars and workshops.
• Maintaining and updating all the records relevant to the grant items, and frequent expenditures and updating the filling system.
• Managing office central services which include emails, external affairs, corresponding letters, and office expenses.
• Keeping track of office supplies and preparing payment requests for ordering chemicals, placing orders, etc.
• Handling the daily administrative tasks of funded projects and research grants of the Center, tracking project timelines, and ensuring deliverables are met.
• Assisting with the preparation of departmental communication such as newsletters and announcements.
• Managing professional and personal scheduling for the Director of the program, including agendas, email, and calls.
